Gedicht: Toxic Relation

You say you tricked me, to see how I would react.
Now tell me, what kind of person would do that?
If you don’t trust me, don’t be with me.
I can’t become the person you want me to be.

You say your damaged, that’s your excuse.
This toxic behavior is what will make you lose.
You know I’m loyal, is this why you play this game?
‘Cause you know I’ll stay here with you just the same.
It won’t take long before I’ll hit the ground.
Unable to get up or make a sound.
You would probably just stand there, looking down on me.
Not lifting a finger, that’s not the person you’ll be.
